The Music Academy Studio

Acoustic Instruments and voice can be recorded onto Hard-Disk
(up to 8 tracks simultaneously)
along with Digital Signals
(from the Pod XT Pro and Bass Pod).

This will be done usually in ProTools,
but for certain projects may be done in
Digital Performer or Logic Pro

For projects using Virtual Instruments
we would record using
Reason or Garageband

Several takes will be recorded to ensure the best version makes it to your finished track

Vocals and single line instruments can be
re-tuned if necessary
(such as brass or bass guitar etc.)
using state-of-the art AUTOTUNE software

Dodgy drum/ percussion sounds can be replaced without losing the feel of the original performance using Digidesign's Sound Replacer software

DJ's can use the record deck to scratch any MP3 or AIF file of their choice from a hard-disk using SERATO scratch studio software

Audio can be transposed without tempo alteration, or tempo adjusted without pitch alteration
up to values of 200% using
SERATO Pitch'n' time software
